Let's Get This Party Started!

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to start this blogging adventure with each of you! I have always had a love of the written word, and I am hopeful that this will be a great opportunity to get the words I have pouring out of my heart onto paper (well, digital paper).

My Wedding Ceremony

Wedding music has been a huge part of my life over the past 2 years. It all began when I got engaged to my husband, Nathan, and began the search for the perfect songs to tell the story of our love, and our life together.

Then, three of my friends got engaged and all asked me to sing in their ceremonies. I was extremely honored to be such a special part of their big day. I mean, seriously, try to imagine a wedding ceremony without music. *crickets* Impossible, right? And I had so much fun preparing for each of these ceremonies! Each of my friends wanted something completely different.

One wanted a mix of CCM (or contemporary Christian, for all of you non-musical people out there), country, and classical. Another wanted all CCM, and the third wanted a cappella hymns from her church's personal hymnal.  Like I said, completely different for each one.

Every ceremony was unique and beautiful, and it helped me to realize that I wanted to continue doing this for others. I wanted to help make each bride I encountered have a ceremony that reflects them. Each wedding ceremony should tell your story, your way, and be a reflection of who you are.

I am hopeful that this blog will help to connect me to brides that want to tell their love story through song. And I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you, and portray your love through music.

Also, I would love to know what kind of content you would like to see here. I am definitely going to write about music, as it pertains to weddings and life. But, I would also like to talk about the wedding process in general. I want to help guide you through your journey. Perhaps a few miscellaneous posts here and there. So tell me, what strikes your fancy?

With love,

Whitney
